受疫情影响，雅思考试频频被取消，导致很多同学的留学申请不得不按下暂停键。
虽说有多邻国、PTE、朗思等一系列考试可以替代，但终究有的学校只认可雅思。
近日，雅思官方正式宣布 IELTS Indicator 在中国大陆上线啦！这意味着，如果受到疫情影响暂时没法参加线下考试的同学，现在可以直接报名线上考试，足不出户也能参与雅思考试啦！
面对这个“既熟悉又陌生”的雅思考试，同学们一定有很多问题需要了解，今天我们就来为同学们进行系统的介绍。
什么是IELTS Indicator
IELTS Indicator 是雅思考试官方在新冠肺炎疫情期间推出的可以在家考的线上考试，该测试涵盖听力、阅读、写作和口语四个单项，在考试内容、形式、结构和时长上与雅思考试一致，并由专业的雅思考官评分, 可以为雅思考试可能取得的成绩提供可靠的参考性指标。
IELTS Indicator 的口语考试也是采用 “人人对话” 的考试模式，考生将通过线上视频通话的方式与真人雅思考官进行一对一的实时互动交流。
哪些国家和院校接受IELTS Indicator
雅思官方也已说明，IELTS Indicator 只是特定时间内在部分因新冠肺炎影响而暂停雅思考试的国家或地区提供。它不能替代在考点举行的具有高质量管控和安全措施的线下雅思考试，可能不会被所有认可雅思的院校机构接受，考生在报考前请务必与院校核实IELTS Indicator 的认可情况。雅思考试全面恢复后，考生可能仍需要参加考点举行的雅思考试以满足院校的要求。
也就是说，该类考试目前认可度还不太稳定，有可能今年学校认可，明年学校就不认可了。所以对于还不着急今年出国留学的同学而言，保险起见，还是等待线下考试恢复了再报名。无论是线下的雅思纸笔考还是机考，其认可度都是较为稳定的。
不过如果着急要雅思分数，IELTS Indicator的确不失为一个较好的选择。
根据雅思官网6月9日最新更新名单，目前全球共有63个国家和地区、超500所院校都认可IELTS Indicator成绩，包括中国、英国、澳大利亚、加拿大和美国等都有名校承认！
其中，英国G5院校中，有4所学校都承认该类型考试。以英国的伦敦大学学院（UCL）为例，其官网明确表示，目前只有2022/2023学年入学的同学可以用IELTS Indicator的成绩进行申请，成绩要求与其它雅思考试类别要求一样。

IELTS Indicator 考试安排
雅思Indicator在中国内地首场考试已开放报名，报名截止时间为6月17日凌晨6点。听、读、写首场考试时间为6月24日，口语考试时间为6月21日或22日。
目前IELTS Indicator 每周开放两场考试，听、读、写首场考试时间为6月24日，口语考试时间为6月21日或22日，大家报名时可以自选口语考试时间。
首场考试已开放报名，报名截止时间为6月17日凌晨6点，
但是目前由于报名人数过多，6月的IELTS Indicator暂时无法报名。大家可以关注一下7月的场次开放情况。
IELTS Indicator 在7月的笔试时间为7月8日和22日，预计在本周开放报名，大家记得及时关注官方动态。
